Hello everyone I am an English teacher at a French secondary school in Bordeaux France. I am reaching out to propose a transdisciplinary partnership between our schools for the upcoming academic year, for my class of 4ème (12/13y.o, 30 students) and my class of 3ème (13/14y.o. , 30 students). They have 5 hours of English each week and are very motivated.
In line with our national curriculum requirements and the French official guidelines, we would like to organize three collaborative projects—one per term—each focusing on a different theme relevant to both our educational programs. The aim is to foster intercultural exchange, develop language skills, and encourage critical thinking through interdisciplinary learning.
• Term 1: Sustainable Development and Environmental Awareness
• Term 2: Cultural Heritage and Identity
• Term 3: Discovering and Reimagining Our Villages, Towns, and Neighborhoods
Each project would be designed to allow students to work together in English and/or in French, using digital tools for communication and creation.
